In 1988, an adulterous Alabama minister carries out a murder for hire of his wife. The minister would end up taking his own life. Three men would see prison time, two of which would be executed. One of those executed would survive his first execution attempt only to make history by being the first person to be executed by means of nitrogen hypoxia.
