EP 40 | Cynthia Parker | Development Director, National Children’s Advocacy Center
EP 40 is here! This was a very touching and — at times — difficult interview. Cynthia Parker has dedicated much of her life to charitable causes, non-profits, and otherwise serving her beloved community of Huntsville. The National Children’s Advocacy, founded in Huntsville in 1984, models, promotes, and delivers excellence in child abuse response and prevention through services, education, and leadership. Cynthia not only expertly explains the differences and purposes of CAC’s at the national, regional, and local levels, but also shares some of the tender stories and experiences of those that have been abused. On a personal level, Cynthia is immensely proud of her son and daughter, both of whom are working in professions that allow them to server their communities and make a difference in people’s lives.
