2. Tiffany Lockett: Patti Grace Smith Fellowship
Katie and Sallie sit down for their first remote interview with Tiffany Lockett. A self proclaimed space nerd, Tiffany is a NASA superstar and aerospace engineer. Tiffany currently serves as the Mars Ascent Vehicle Assembly, Integration, and Test Lead at NASA Marshall Space Flight Center.
Tiffany is passionate about reaching back into the community through outreach engagements and participating on STEM related panels. She is eager to share ways to gain opportunities in the aerospace field, especially with young, aspiring engineers. During the summer of 2020 she and three others founded the Patti Grace Smith Fellowship.

The Patti Grace Smith Fellowship was announced to the public on October 6, 2020
The mission of The Patti Grace Smith Fellowship is to provide a meaningful, effective pathway into successful aerospace careers and future aerospace industry leadership to people whose race and ethnicity has made them the subject of systemic bias.
Named for the Former FAA Office of Commercial Space Transportation Chair, Patti Grace Smith. Patti Grace Smith’s tenure covered the most exciting and dynamic period in the commercial space industry’s growth, with Patti overseeing the licensing of the first inland spaceport, the first private human spaceflight, and the first launches of Elon Musk’s privately developed rocket, the SpaceX Falcon 1.
